New Population Estimates for 2011

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has released the 2011 mid year population estimates at local authority level. These estimates are the first estimates to be based on the results of the 2011 census.

Focus on... the Index of Multiple Deprivation

The Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) is a national deprivation index published by Communities & Local Government. It produces an overall national rank of deprivation for small areas.

Unemployment Rates published
Published: 01 August 2011
Claimant rates are based on population estimates from the Office for National Statistics. Rates based on internal population estimates are available for registered users, who have logged in to DORIC, but only for Cheshire East and West.
